You know I was one of the nos of course. Disagreeing with shipmates is funny. Maybe someday me and pretty veela can duke it out on Snape/Lily too.

I totally missed it on my first read through, but now that it's been pointed out to me, I definitely see signs that she does.

Depends on when you are asking the question. Do you mean right now as of the end of OotP?

to be sure, I'd have to read it again, and that isn't occurring anytime soon.

I don't see how people can have an opinion on this with such a small amount of evidence. This is totally a case of "wait and see" for me.

I guess because it was my first impression when I read OotP for the first time, it has just stuck with me. I have heard arguments that have made me think I might have read too much into it, and they have given me enough doubt that I don't think I'll be disappointed if nothing further happens with Luna/Ron in HBP, but not enough doubt to really think my first impression was wrong.

I voted "no" because there's such a lack of romantic indicators as usually portrayed by JKR in the books. Luna doesn't blush around Ron, is not jealous that he took someone else to the ball, isn't shy about saying that she would not have minded going with him because she doesn't like to dance either. I don't think that because Luna's "different" that she would act differently than other characters when she fancies someone. She has acted no differently than others when showing other emotions -- she's just shown those other emotions while wearing raddish earrings. Thus, I don't think she would show romantic emotions any differently than any other character.

As of the end of OotP I'd say no.

But I really think that we don't know enough to tell if she had a crush on Ron or not. I didn't have a "crush" reaction when I read it, and though I can see why people think she did/does, it doesn't feel right to me personally. She confuses me (;

I say probably not, though I don't think it's completely impossible that she does. At any rate, I think it's a hell of a lot more likely she fancies Ron than Harry. *is completely bewildered by the idea of Harry/Luna*

I think she has crushes on Ron and Harry. She's fourteen--I remember having crushes on two different boys simultaneously at that age. I would guess that Ron is the "major" crush and Harry is the "minor" crush.

I voted no. I didn't see it when I read the book, was deeply astonished to find how many people did see it in the fandom, and I'm still unconvinced by the evidence. I just really don't see Luna as having any kind of role in shipping in the books. I will admit that I could be wrong, however.
