Deathly Hallows Tribond

I have many things I would like to say about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but I'm not quite ready to say them yet. For now, I'll just say that I loved the book and thought it was a very fitting ending for the series.

And in the meantime, I have three DH-inspired tribond threezers to share. These do all incorporate new info from DH, so beware of spoilers in the comments.

1. Harry...Neville...Ron
2. Voldemort...Snape...Buckbeak
3. Snape...Harry...Tonks

ETA: You all seem to have caught on to #1-2 right away, but #3 has stumped you. Hint: rhrsoulmates had a guess that was on the right track.

Certainly one answer for 1. is "Wielded the sword of Gryffindor"

Yeah but as you were there when we played this past week, you can't just play now...

I you sure I was in the room? I don't remember playing and I certainly don't know the other two clues!

The first one's gotta have something to do with the Sword of Gryffindor.

I remember it! It was Sirius, Hagrid, and Harry. Should I let people guess it here?

1. As others have said, they've all used the sword.

2. They can all fly.

3. I really don't know. The best I can come up with is they all have a Patronus that's four-legged.

For #3, you are on the right track. But LOTS of people have four-legged Patronuses. I'm looking for how those three are DIFFERENT.

I was thinking #1 could be that all destroyed a horcrux, but it's true that they've also all weilded the sword of Gryffindor.

And, as have already been said, for #2 I'd say they can all fly.

No idea for #3, though rhrsoulmates's guess seems pretty good to me.

Without looking at other responses so far...

1. Harry...Neville...Ron

Brandished Gryffindor's sword.

2. Voldemort...Snape...Buckbeak

All flew.

3. Snape...Harry...Tonks

No idea.

I've been thinking about what to write for my DH post, too. :)
I came up with these answers before reading the comments, so I'm cool. :)

1) They all pulled the cat out of the bag, er, pulled the sword out of the hat, er...wielded the Sword of Gryffindor. (in other words, they are TRUE GRYFFINDORS (tm) )

2) I can fly, I can fly, I can fly!
(Hmm...there's a great link on the SQ, let's see if I can find it...here it is. Have a laugh. :)

3) I'm a bit stumped, but I'll keep thinking on it.

How was your trip? I'm assuming you're back or heading back?

Aha! With your hint above about the patronuses (is that cheating, I wonder?) I think I may have #3!

All three had patronuses that represented people they loved (and lost?). :D

*feels triumphant!* I'm usually so terrible with these.

I look forward to hearing about your trip. :)

#1 has already been guessed at with what I was going to say so I'll take a stab at #3: They were all kept away from the ones they loved for various reasons. Snape -> Lily, Harry -> Ginny, Tonks -> Lupin.

Ah, I see I was wrong. Their patronuses are embodiments of people they care about: Lily, James and Lupin.

Not a bad guess, but not what I'm looking for. It's something a bit more concrete than that.

Where did you get your icon? I've been wanting one almost exactly like that, but I haven't really found what I'm looking for yet.

I made it. It's definitely not exactly what I wanted. My icon making skills are pathetic right now. If I get the time, I'm going to try and improve it.

In chapter 30, after he duels with McGonagall, he jumps out the window and flies away like a bat!
