That doesn't look like it serges. Is it a different one from the one they advertised?

It's not the same one. This one is actually an upgrade. It doesn't *exactly* serge, but it does finish edges almost as nicely as a serger (you make it do a zigzag and what they call a stretch stitch at the same time while running it through an attachable cutter). It can also do a rolled hem, multidirection stitching, satin stitching (basically embroidery, though I don't know if it really qualifies as an embroidery machine), gathering (it actually creates the gathers as you sew), stretch stitch (so you can sew on elastic without stretching it as you go), and probably some other things that I'm forgetting. Of course it will probably take me all summer or longer to figure out how to actually *do* most of these tricks, but it certainly has quite a few fun features to play with. Cool! I want to get a sowing machine too, but I rather wait until my b-day. It's looks like a fun toy!
