Well, I decided it was safe to turn my comp back on...

...since we have wind and rain, but not much thunder and lightning. And we are very lucky to still have power, so I thought I would take advantage of it. ;) Several people in Tally don't have power right now. We're getting winds of about 20 mph, and quite a bit of rain. It's not really that bad. Yet. The eye of Frances (as I have been told is the proper spelling) is supposed to make landfall a little bit west of us around 2PM. The worst wind is supposed to be on the eastern side of the storm. You do the math. Right now it's a strong tropical storm, but it still has time to strengthen to a category one hurricane by the time it hits. Still, I'm not too worried. It could be a LOT worse, and I do think we are adequately prepared.

And now, a meme gacked from susy_gwen:
