Link spam: Orwell and copyright law; tropical storm report

I thought Patterico.com had an interesting post today about copyright law in the internet age, and the irony of how the law currently applies to the works of George Orwell. Go read it.

In other news, Ernesto is coming to visit, and I have the day off work tomorrow. I hope it's stormy enough that TPTB don't feel dumb for putting life on hold for a day, but not stormy enough to do any real damage.

Hope you stay safe and Dry... and safe... and dry ;)

Read the link, interesting, don't think what some of the "others" did comes under Fair Use though, but a definition should be helpful for "them" though.

But more importantly, stay safe and dry :) unless you like dancing in the rain, before it gets too windy of course, then dance til your heart's content on your day off :D
